Ken (DJ) and Nicole (MC) came to DJ, MC and do the Photobooth for my wedding that occurred on 3/25/23 in Hauula, HI. Prior to booking with them, I had a call with Ken to talk about the DJ & Photobooth package and we just clicked right away! Ken answered all of my questions and even threw in a wedding slideshow which other DJs didn't offer. What I loved is how down to earth Ken and Nicole are. They didn't Nickel and Dime us like some other vendors and were super helpful throughout the planning process and day of the wedding. They arrived early and went above and beyond our expectations. My guests had a blast at our wedding and I know it was partly due to having them be a part of it. I highly recommend booking with them! They will make sure to take care of your needs with exceptional customer service. Mahalo!

Ken and Nicole did an awesome job with our wedding. He is very quick to respond, and he was able to play all of our wedding song playlist just as we requested. I also love how ALL of the services (DJ, MC and photobooth) is affordable compared to other businesses. I totally recommend using all of his services because the prices are WAY BETTER than other DJ's who offer photobooth/MC with great customer service. All of our guests enjoyed our photobooth and wearing/holding the props. Because of Ken and Nicole, our wedding reception was super fun and memorable, especially with my surprise dance for the groom :') I would totally recommend Ken and Nicole for your wedding.

For context, we were supposed to get married in 2020 but like a lot of couples, had to push everything out. We lost quite a few vendors along the way but Ken stuck with us for over 2 years until we finally got married in the summer of 2022. Our wedding was not simple - we chose an extremely beautiful but very complicated venue in terms of logistics (Jumanji at Kualoa Ranch). The venue is in an open valley with zero power on site and two different but closely site locations for the reception and ceremony. Ken went above and beyond to make sure all of our audio needs were squared away in these conditions. He supplied AV support for the ceremony up on a remote hill, DJ and audio services through the entire length of the reception including karaoke for our guests (we’re die hard karaoke fans), and his wonderful wife, Nicole, was the emcee of our event. We realized at the 11th hour that we hadn’t made arrangement for an emcee and Nicole saved the day! She’s a trained toastmaster and it definitely shows. As a bonus, they’re also just such nice, lovely humans who have great taste in music and are fun to be around!

We booked Ken and Nicole for a private karaoke work event and they were AWESOME! They had a PDF catalog of over 1200 PAGES (yes, pages!) of songs. Ken handles the sound and can adjust a song up or down as needed, while the singer does their thing on the mic. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing karaoke night!

From the start, Ken was the quickest to respond and continued to communicate well to the day of my event. We hosted a corporate event retirement party for a group of Oahu locals and hired Hawaii Affordable DJ for karaoke. Ken and Nicole were amazing to work with. We purchased the mixed package and were completely hands off the entire night. From set up to tear down, Ken and Nicole flowed from DJ music and Emcee to Karaoke without a hitch. Would definitely recommend using them for your next karaoke get together. They have an arsenal of over 250,000 songs to choose from and are constantly updating their database. If they don't have a particular song you want to sing they are more than willing to find it on YouTube and stream it directly to their system. Just make sure the venue you have them at has good WIFI in order to make that happen.

Ken and Nicole were amazing! Great communication and entertainment. We hired them for my daughters first birthday and decided to get the DJ and photobooth services. They did good! We hired Ken and his wife for our wedding and it was great! Prior to our wedding day we asked if he would be able to cut our mother-son and father-daughter dance and he was able to do it with no questions asked! I really love that he offers discounts for his services and their cube photobooth was a hit with everyone! We were able to communicate with him freely prior to our wedding and send him our timeline along with our song list. During our dancing portion we were able to request songs to be played! Great service, great price. Can't be beat!

Ken is gracious and friendly with a great selection of music. Allowing party guests to text requests. The sound system is great, they provide all speakers and space set up can fit anywhere. We had our event at country clubs and a sunset dinner boat cruise. Lots of fun, easy to work with, on time, responsive, with payment options via paypal.

I highly recommend Hawai'i Affordable DJ & Karaoke. I had them over for my birthday party. Ken and his son were on time even though they live so far from where I live. Their set up and break down was so fast. All I had to worry about was the food and drinks etc. Since the Pandemic we haven't had a good karaoke night in so long. So when I scheduled for him too come over I was kind of iffy. but then he showed up and we had a blast! I haven't had that much fun in so long I forgot I was even home. the next day my friends and family were craving about how much fun they had and how we should do it again.

We hired Hawaii affordable DJ for our wedding and after party. We were blown away at the quality and sound of their equipment especially for such a reasonable price. Ken & his wife Nicole were very friendly and professional and made an excellent team. Ken worked the DJ equipment and sound and his lovely wife made sure everyone had a microphone for the karaoke segment of the party and helped with song requests etc. Not only did they arrive an hour early for set up but they even stayed half an hour late so our guests who still had songs in the cue were able to sing them.
